“Works rather poorly than well. The task was to make the surfaces pretty again. Apart from a lot of noise and dirt, almost nothing happened. Very disappointing. I do like the concept, but if it doesn't work it was simply a waste of time.”
QUOTED IN FULL · NOTHING REMOVED
He is not wrong, and we are not going to blame him for it. He used the machine on soft, flexible wood to make it smooth. Abrasive bounces off a surface that gives way instead of biting into it — he would have got the same result from any sandblaster on the market, ours or a €3,000 cabinet.
The mistake happened before he switched it on: our listing let him believe this was a sanding machine. It is not. It strips hard surfaces and leaves a profile behind. That cost him a weekend and €399, and it cost us a two-star review we had coming.
Yes — if you want to smooth soft wood, plywood, or prepare for paint. Then he is describing exactly what will happen to you. Buy an orbital sander, around €80. We mean that.
No — if you are stripping rust, paint off stone, or texturing hardwood. Different material, different physics. His review says nothing about your job.
“Fantastic machine! It works extremely fast — even better than my sandblasting system with a compressor. Congratulations!”
